I have this in the crock pot right now. It’s starting to smell great in here, two hours after starting it. I found this recipe on Pinterest and have been wanting to try it.
Crock Pot Cube Steak
1 family pack cube steaks (I’m using 6, a couple are small)
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
3/4 C water
Mix the soup and water and then add the cube steaks.
Cook on low 8 hrs.
I’m serving it with mashed potatoes and a veggie.
Remember that chicken recipe from the ‘70s that used onion soup mix?
Onion Soup Mix Chicken and Mashed Potates
Stir one envelope of Lipton onion soup mix into one thawed small container of orange juice concentrate. Lay
Lay chicken pieces in a baking pan. Pour the soup mixture over the pieces. Bake until done.
Pour off excess cooked juice and drippings to use as gravy for mashed potates. Thicken if needed.
