There's my three.
Just three? No can do, mon, so here are a few that got no (or little) mention so far - really don’t need a hundredth cite of Airplane!, Monty Python, et al?:
A New Leaf
What’s Up, Tiger Lily?
Nuns on the Run
Le Grand Blond avec une Chaussure Noire (The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe - the French original, not the abominable re-make with Tom Hanks)
Amazon Women on the Moon
Better Off Dead
Zazie dans le Metro
Local Hero
Firemen’s Ball
After the Fox
The Nutty Professor (the Jerry Lewis original)
His Girl Friday
La Chevre
Dude, Where’s My Car?
I’m All Right, Jack
The Bachelor and the Bobbysoxer
My Man Godfrey
The Heartbreak Kid
The Producers (original, of course)
Shaun of the Dead
Loves of a Blonde
Zoolander
Eurotrip
The Naked Gun
The Belles of St. Trinian’s
The Man With Two Brains
Bedazzled (Yay, Peter Cook and Didley Moore; the re-make lacks eveything that made the original funny)
I did my three but have seen many I wish I would have thought of also. Can’t just keep it to three. I am surprised no one has mentioned: The Producers (The original of course)Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder
The producers has been on many of these lists.
LOL!
I guess I just missed seeing it then. Thanks for the info.
producers is awesome
Alan Arkin? No! He worked throughout the early 60s in movies. The Russians are Coming, the Russians are Coming was his very first. He got an Academy Award nomination out of it.
Indeed. Hewould be considered a great American actor if he would just lighten up a little!! :-)
Born in ‘60, but funny is funny!
Good to hear. I could use a good laugh right now.
So, anybody mention “Super Troopers”?
>> The Party. Peter Sellers
LOL - that was indeed a hilarious film.
