Maya Cooper says meat and dairy cannot be preserved for a 3 year period. MRE’s stored at 50 degrees F will last 5 years. Dehydrated meat can store with quality as long as 25 years. In the clod arid environment of space, storage conditions would be near ideal.
Clearly, meats can be preserved that long. This twit proves that NASA has become a joke. This sounds like another “Hansen” situation.
Some Vegans working at NASA, have decided with messianic zeal, that astronausts should all be vegans.
And vegan means they have decided that it is a pure vegetable diet. This is a jihad, not a serious scientist.
I'm not going to be too specific, but look up 'low residue meals fighter pilot'.
I've made those meals for fighter pilots looking forward to ferrying single seat fighter aircraft across oceans in 14 hour+ flights with in-flight refueling.
Those meals don't include a bunch of cabbage and beans.
