I have gotten burned by so many rebates that don’t pay up (especially the deceased Comp*USA, but even products like Snapple) that I will not consider a promised rebate in my purchase of products.
I concur compUSA was famous for their bogus rebate offers. I also had one refused.
No doubt. Great if it happens, but I’m not counting on it.
