I’ve been using Microsoft’s Security Essentials http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/security-essentials-download for years without a problem. And it’s free.

I’ve been using Kaspersky for years and it seems to catch stuff that Norton and Macafee used to let march right through. And, with this rebate, it’s ALSO free!

Me too, it’s undoubtedly the best MS product I’ve ever used. (maybe that’s a underhanded compliment)

I’ve been using it as well and I hope MS knows more about their systems than other vendors even though I think they bought this from another company or they bought the company.
Works great and free.

Prior to it’s last update some of the JAVA based fake security warnings would get through MSE. They seemed to have addressed the problem.
