In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “Word for the Day”.
Sang-froid
Noun
[French : sang, blood (from Old French, from Latin sanguis) + froid, cold (from Old French, from Vulgar Latin *frigidus, alteration of Latin frgidus; see frigid).]
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

No. It’s not a biography but rather a biopic. It’s specific to the passage of the 13th amdmt. Sally Fields as Mary Todd. We were kinda worried we might see her boob at one point! Tommy Lee Jones was quite good as Thaddeus Stevens. Xshub didn’t come with us but I wish he had bc he’s a history buff and I don’t have an historical framework to put it in.

She looks far better on the Boniva commercials! Speaking of looking good, I’m currently reading Greg guttfield s book, and he was born in 1964! He’s 48? He doesn’t remotely look that I thought he was early 40s at thievery latest!
I’d say it’s clean living but that doesn’t sound quite right with the Gut.

My neighbor and I got to gossiping after dinner, so I was walking home through the woods just at dusk. It was warm for November, insects were chirping, and I was very tempted to sit down and stay awhile longer, but I know what critters come out to go hunting and scavenging at dusk, so I came right home instead.
Charming as the woods are in that bluish autumn/winter twilight, the ambiance would really be spoiled by a mountain lion or a pack of feral hogs...
I don’t count Rice out, Obama always gets what he wants.....the Senate is still Dem. A+++
