Maybe not - they met and were married right before her career took off. With her drviing career taking off, all of the working out and modeling opps took off too. She instantly became hotter, richer, more famous.
At that point, when her career did take off, it was probably inevitable, but not when they first met. I doubt many marriages survive a sudden and radical change in career status. Not justifying anything or excusing anything, just observing.
