Bummer
The real builders and keepers of this nation have become irrelevent. America, isn’t recognizable after the Obama takeover. I don’t even know if it is worth fighting for, and have to wonder if West didn’t sense this.
It shouldn’t matter what West says or does — this election was obviously handled improperly due to either incompetence or intent. Florida’s Secretary of State can either do something about it, or endorse it by craven inaction.
The Florida Secretary of State should use this district as a test case to reassure the public that elections under his supervision have integrity. He should not certify the election results, pending a full recount and investigation/audit by his deputies (not the local officials). The investigation should include: checking the voter sign-in rolls precinct by precinct to assure that at least as many signed in properly as voted; checking that the signatures are valid; checking for duplicate voting within FL; checking US/FL citizen status and legal registration of the signed-in voters; looking into voter
identity theft and other reports of malfeasance; finding out whether show-ups were allowed to cast regular (non-provisional) ballots, etc. There is a lot more to reviewing this situation than running cards through a machine.
Were those lies coming out of West's headquarters. What happened to the 900 votes they claimed came from a precinct with 7 registered voters?
If Allen West forms a group that goes after voter fraud, I can respect him again. Otherwise he is just another politician.
I refuse to concede my tag line.
