Conservatives understood, from Day One, that this would prove the inevitable end result of attempting to unseat a doctrinaire Chicago liberal with a doctrinaire Massachusetts liberal.
"Realistic" Republicans, on the other hand, insisted that they simply knew better, of course.
We now have two consecutive presidential losses, demonstrating with inarguable clarity precisely what happens when a political party attempts to "win" while simultaneously warring, idiotically, against its own base.
Either learn, or don't. Reality sweeps placidly along, regardless.
Not. Even the most stalwart conservative, a man known a Jim Robinson -- who is prone to nearly-uncontrollable outbursts of "No more RINOS! God! Country! Family!" -- ended up voting for Mitt Romney.
The distaste for Obama clearly beat the distaste for Romney, as we see in the very large crowds Romney was gathering. Obama couldn't get people to show up with free Bruce Springsteen concerts.
Nossir. You will not convince me Republican votes were not eaten; certainly not with a few Alinsky-like mocking photos.
By the way, I do agree with your premise that we need to run conservatives.
But I will not accept that this election was not stolen. There is too much evidence, both direct and circumstantial, and to many rumors I am personally aware of — evidence that will never see light of day.
