It's good to know that the GOP-e will say that Santorum is next in line. /Sarc.

... will back him, say that it it is his turn, and not Chris Christie's turn, etc. /Sarc.

I mean, George Bush defeated McCain, and so McCain was the presumptive "next in line," (that's how it works, right? /sarc) although he still had to fight for it and had at one point sunk pretty low --- even captioned carrying his own baggage.

And McCain defeated Romney, so it was then Romney's turn --- and he was next in line --- right?

But does this rule only apply to RINOs?

Speaking of Chris Christie... Given what Limbaugh said about Christie, and his choice words about him a little while back, I wonder where Ann Coulter now stands concerning Christie...

BTW, I wonder if any Republican will be on O'Reilly's show over and over again the next four years.

Who are you supporting for 2016?

Something else... are they finally going to put New York, Delaware, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maryland, etc, at the end of the line in the primary season, as no Republican has any chance of winning these states in the general election?

Not so sure Santorum is next in line. Heard recently that Rubio was in Iowa.

Santorum works for me, and so does Perry.

I’ve got a reasonable list of acceptable candidates myself, but we have to settle on someone before 2016. Santorum, Jindal, Rubio, McClintock, Palin, Scott Walker, Paul Ryan and more are all acceptable to me. We can’t have another debacle where we have to switch from candidate to candidate like last time.

I like Perry, but Perry supported Dewhurst in the Texas Senate race. I know why he did, but still..

How about this: state primaries are in the order of percent won by the Republican nominee last general election, win or lose. Let the party strongholds set the tone for the primary.

But what about that position statement that Rubio put out that was entitled concerning “Undocumented Workers” or something like that, not “illegal aliens?”

And what about his own version of the “Dream Act?”

I think Santorum was a far better choice than the one we got.

But what about Rubio’s own version of the “Dream Act” or quasi-amnetsy or something like that that he was developing?

And what about that position statement of his that was entitled “Undocumented Workers” not “Illegal aliens?”

Good idea.

GOP and Dems should run their own primaries, we don’t need state governments involved in this

I don’t give a smelly, sceptic Obama who (or what) the GOP nominates.

I will vote for a conservative, or I will not vote at all.

Palin yes.

Another RINOmney - no.

Period.

I’ve seen what a pile of Obamstuff that those idiots have given us, and they can eat it, ‘cuz I’m no longer a Republican.

Sadly, Dennis is the smartest and most conservative of that bunch. Plus, he has good taste in females.

I don’t think Pat Buchanan or Tom Tancredo will be running in 2016.

I live in California. I’ve seen first hand how illegal immigration can destroy an entire state.

That said, however, the cat has been been let out of the bag. The white vote is in decline. Blacks will never vote GOP in my lifetime. Asians SHOULD be voting GOP but are not right now. George W. Bush received 40% of the Hispanic vote in 2004. We need to get back to those kind of numbers. Romney won about 60% of the white vote. Two or three decades ago, that would have been more than enough to guarantee a Reagan-like or Nixon-like landslide. But with our current demographic situation, that is no longer possible.
