Signing such a petition cannot legitimately be called Treason, the constitution sets forth a clear definition of treason and this is not it.

The clear wording of the Constitution has never stopped statists from bending, if not outright breaking it before, why would *this* be any different?

Good point; but it doesn’t mean that I can’t repudiate the “dissent is treason” thought here, does it?
