Have two shelties here . . . I’d think they’d bark their heads off . . . like they do for the quarterly bug man, and others who enter our home or descend upon our front steps. They serve as my alarm . . . then I’ll grab my gun.

Exactly! My Border Collie/ Sheltie mix would does the same thing.. Barks his head off first then chills out after he’s had a chance to assess the intruder..err visitor. ;)
