My small dogs bark at everything outside. I hope they would alert to an intruder.

Only thing our Lab has goin' for him is he's *big* and *black*, and he too, barks at any activity outside the house.

This is Chloe having a good time in my yard. She is still a puppy. She is the worst one I have ever seen to chew everything she can get her teeth on.

My chihuahua, Sammy, could scared the he** out of intruders. My pug (deceased) would have welcomed intruders, shown them around and let them take the good stuff.

Our next-door neighbor broke into our base housing/trailer and was rewarded with a bite from our 10 to 15 pound, usually submissive but noisy chihuahua/terrier mix.
