Abbey Road was recorded after Let it Be. I have always thought that Pepper was overrated and prefer the two albums I mentioned.

Arguing release versus recording date is nothing but semantics. The long compliation of short songs on (core side) of Abbey Road is nothing more than random nonsense. It was like Lennon-McCartney were trying to see how ridiculous they could get. Don't get me wrong, I think it is decent work, but their best? (snicker again)

And Sgt. Pepper overrated? Why do most music afficandos quote SP when they state that a particular album was that artist's Sargent Pepper.

The work is considered a benchmark event in Music history. You are in a vast minority underscoring it's value and impact.
