Oh, I thought these machines were all over Pa. I’m in Lehigh County. The first time I saw one I knew any valid count was gone.

I think that this is the saddest week in my whole life, besides the week my brother died.

I was so happy to bring my son to vote for his first time.

Then I hear that Black Panthers were at polling places threatening voters AGAIN! Election watchers being assaulted and thrown out of polling places by Democrats. And it was allowed!

Electronic voting is a sham controlled by whomever is programming it. I just don’t see how this ends well ever.

We have paper ballots and we vote by marking the circle with a pencil, but they still have to go through a machine. However, the guy who heads up the data processing dept in our courthouse is serious about preventing any kind of messing with with those machines. They are under lock and key in between elections. In fact, I understand that our county was held up as an example of excellence several years ago when it was revealed that Pittsburgh’s voting machines were stored in a warehouse where anybody could mess with them. In don’t anticipate that we’ll be changing our way of voting anytime soon. At least I hope not.

I was picked to help with the machines one year during an election. I was to be a trouble-shooter at the polls. Then, in spite of the fact that I was trusted, they told me they didn’t want me helping because I worked for an elected official. I admire the data guy for his honesty and desire to keep the elections fair. I wish it were that way all over the state. I’m sick of voting knowing it won’t make a bit of difference.
