Who resigns because of an affair? Clinton banged a 19 year old intern and stayed in office. While I realize that most freepers do their best to adhere to traditional Christian morality and obey the 10 commandments, the idea that an affair would cause one to resign is ridiculous.

A bunch of senators have been caught having affairs, none of them have resigned.

I'm not buying it. OK, maybe he was having an affair, but that's not why he's resigning. Doesn't make any sense.

He should resign. He let his little head think for his big head. That's not a good thing.

But I will agree, if the Dems and Obama thought he was on 'their team' he would have been golden.

The guy f'***** up big time. He needs to go. This ain't high school.

I give him credit that he didn't lie or try to make any lame excuses that we typically see. He screwed up, knew it, and admitted it. Now it's up to him and his wife.
