What amuses me is all the Freepers who went berserk on me when I pointed this out back when W was still sacred, and who now echo my every point.

It is said that we are a nation of laws and not men, but that's never been true. All tolerable government depends on what used to be called 'men of goodwill'. God has graciously granted America 'men of goodwill' (until now), even though the foundation for tyranny was laid in the Civil War and the framework has been rising since. Actually it's that sort of idea that leads to them thinking themselves invulnerable, and untouchable... but there are things we can do that would totally screw them over.
