Give the IRS (i - the government) as difficult a time as your can.
It ties up their assets and time.
Make them work for everything they can claim. The more people that do so just ties them up and delays their efforts with others.
Have guts. Plead ignorance. They can’t charge you for being (dumb).
They can charge you with various crimes and laws but they have the burden of proof so DON’T give them that ability. ACT STUPID. There is no law against that.

Plead ignorance. They cant charge you for being (dumb). I have personally seen this scenario played out. My sister-in-law, that makes a LOT of money (millions at the time in the 80s), is hispanic. The IRS dragged her into court planning to have her thrown in jail for tax evasion for paying zero taxes (for which she was quilty 10+ times what they assessed.) She played dumb as a box of rocks. I was incensed because at the time I thought it was an honor and a privilege to support our military. She got off scott-free. They zeroed her debt. I was dumbfounded (and fizzed.) Now? I want to pull off exactly what she did. The government can now officially kiss my zzz.

Plead ignorance. They cant charge you for being (dumb). Uh... yes, they can.
You are woefully uninformed. Rely on a tax expert before you offer tax advice.

( You cannot compromise with that which you must defeat.)
