And Romney doesn’t explain the utter destruction of Senate candidates. Let’s not go off the deep end here. 1-2% in 3 states and this is a totally different discussion. Let’s keep it reasonable in our approach.

1. Outreach to Hispanics while retaining our core principles.

2. Be more agressive to counter the personal attacks that Republicans suffer at the hands of the Rats.

3. Look for ways to capitalize on a changing electorate, not fear it.

1. Outreach to Hispanics while retaining our core principles. So Democrat Lite? This is what liberals do. They divide people into groups and treat them as "sub-Americans" pitting them against their opposition. All the Democrats will do is get their "official" Latinos such as La Raza to disqualify anything the Republicans do as far as outreach. This is a non starter. 2. Be more agressive to counter the personal attacks that Republicans suffer at the hands of the Rats. Also a non-starter. You're forgetting a major factor: The media. The media belongs to Democrats. Everyone from the local news to Hollywood can be used by liberals to create a narrative. Anything that the Republicans try to do to counter will simply be ignored by the media. See Benghazi. 3. Look for ways to capitalize on a changing electorate, not fear it. A retread of your first point. This is a straw man. Republicans don't "fear" anyone. They just believe that they can be idealistic and speak to a low-information public in a rational and logical matter...like adults. The Democrats have it right. People are distracted and stupid...that's the reality. Gay, straight, black or white, they're uninformed and distracted. Complicated issues can be demagogued to death by the opposition. So these people need to be talked to like children with catch-phrases, jokes and sound-bites. Hey, even Jesus had to dumb-down complicated ideas for his listeners. Republicans need to drop the idealism and become realists. Run on things that appeal to most people. Look at the exit polls. The majority of Americans agreed with Mitt Romney's views. He was just a horrible spokesman for conservatism because he wasn't a conservative. He was an actor pretending to be a conservative and people didn't buy it. Think about Latinos and blacks. Faith, values and hard work are cornerstones of these cultures--especially Latinos. These people don't support gay marriage and they don't have antipathy towards religion in general. But they vote Democrat. That doesn't make sense. It's all about how you frame the message.
