Assuming all votes would trade out. Could be Obama or non votes.

Maybe if the GOP hadn’t kicked it’s libertarian brothers in the teeth on a consistent basis, we could have won this thing, even with rat voter fraud.

Ok, I am not happy with Johnson. BUT!!! It brings an interesting question to light. If Romney and the E had not shunned their base would Johnson or Goode even have been factors? Time to turn out the light on the Republican Party, it’s over.

What makes you think those people were choosing and alternative to Romney? Maybe they chose an alternative to Obama, Foo'!

In any case if you think they should be in the "R" column what have you done to enlist libertarians into the "R" party? Doesn't seem like you're off to a good start!

Doesn’t matter. Obama would’ve won without them.

This isn’t about Johnson. Or Romney. Or even Obama. The problem is the voters.

Egg on Ann face. She was against Palin. Mitt kept Palin in Alaska. We have seen Moderates can’t win.
No more Christie crap or anyone from liberal state. Mitt and Ryan failed to carry their own state, what a shame??
Same happened with Al Gore.

Got to hand it to the GOP. They can alway find someone to help screw themselves out of a win.

John Kasich and Senate bill 5 seriously undermined Mitt Romney in Ohio. When we saw the way Ohio voters rebuked Kasich and his legislative agenda in 2011, the writing was on the wall.

The difference between Obama and Romney's totals in FL is over 53,000. If every vote for Johnson went to Romney he still would have lost.

The difference in Ohio is 85,000. Johnson only got 47, 592. It makes no difference.

Romney would have lost even if Gary Johnson didn’t exist.

Our voting is crooked as L, not all that voted for Gary would have voted for Romney.

Our elections are a joke.

Virginia too was lost with 3rd party types in the margin.

This was a very close race 49/49 in the popular vote.

A slight shift made all the difference, likely Sandy helped Obama gain a few percent at the end.

Libtard Gary Johnson Cost Romney FL and OH

That's laughable. Better to say "GOP authoritarianism which embraces the Tyrannical Drug War, contraband law, and Prohibition" cost Romney FL and OH.

ROMNEY cost ROMNEY FL and OHIO.

Romney is half socialist himself, and there was simply not enough to distinguish him from 0bama, as hard as that is to stomach.

Gingrich or Palin could have stoked the TEA party enthusiasm, and given us a better chance.

IMHO, Palin made a HUGE miscalculation by sitting out this election cycle. After that happened, Gingrich was probably the best chance.

When the GOP runs a true conservative, instead of the virtual architect of 0bamacare (Romney) then they might have a chance at the White House.

By the way, how is that antagonism of libertarians working out for the GOP?

Not to good.

Wouldn't it be neat of the authoritarian GOP could get its head out of its ass with respect to the non-conservative and Tyrannical Drug War, Prohibition, contraband law and the like?

Those few precious percentage points which the GOP needlessly lost by antagonizing marijuana smokers, etc. might have come in real handy.

The GOP is simply reaping what it has sown. Instead of convincing staunchly anti-socialist libertarians to join their ranks, conservatives who disagree with them are content just to demonize and alienate them.

Well done.

PALIN 2016!!!

Scapegoat away. The RNC’s New Deal Republican Romney lost when it should have been EASY EASY EASY.

Recognizing the problem is the first step to solving the problem.

O won Ohio by 85K votes. Johnson had about 45K, presumably “taken” from Romney. Jill Stein (Green) had 15K, presumably taken from O.

Florida- O by 58K, Johnson 42K, Stein 8K.

So your point is what exactly?

Stop blaming libertarians for the failure of your lame-assed candidate.

You’re all mediocre. You should all refrain from voting. Let the elite run things. There has been an inexorable expansion of who is entitled to vote. Every time it has been expanded, the country has suffered. Take the vote from 18 - 20 year olds, and things would be better. Take the vote from women, and things would be better. Take the vote from those without property, and things would be better.

But it can’t happen. We’ll have to perform the phoenix maneuver. This country is lost.

Mitt Romney cost Mitt Romney in Florida and Ohio. Another Massachusetts RINO went down in flames. Big shock.

No, Romney, and his supporters in the GOP-E, cost Romney the election.

He decided to run to the center, embracing Abortion and the Gay Agenda and never offered a clear limited government message.

Romney has no-one to blame but himself.

A real Republican would have won this election easily.

Romney is nothing but a Pretend Republican.
