What a great night . . .
Romney's strategists, Morris, Rove, Coulter, Christie, RINO suck-ups to the national media, Akin, Mourdock, Thompson, Allen, Mack,
Feel free to add to the list.
Whatever else might be said, i think Romney and Ryan did a great job. The deck was stacked against them by the media and by a democrat party which has seemingly no compunction about cheating or anything else. Yet despite all that R&R still looked like were going to pull it off, but then came Sandy which sucked away their momentum while at the same time puffing up Obama with the help of one of our own puffy politicians.
Krauthammer the other day said that Obama has always had incredible luck throughout his life. And it really is incredible when you think about it. Almost as though some supernatural force is guiding his destiny. Whether that’s true or not, there’s no doubt that without the hurricane, and without the mainstream media shielding Obama from the other storm (Benghazi), this would have been a much different night for us.
So in the end, while i am not happy with the Republican establishment, my anger will continue to be directed primarily at the media. They once again deceived the public while pretending to be professional journalists instead of the treacherous advocates for the left that they are. It was bad enough four years ago. It was far worse this time around. Twice now they have effectively performed something akin to a coup d’etat, allowing a thoroughly unqualified and undeserving man to govern the most powerful nation on earth.
In my opinion we need to keep hammering away at the media, not at ourselves. For if the liberal media can be significantly weakened, then the liberal agenda will itself be weakened. If no though, then it doesn’t much matter who controls the Republican party since the left and the lefty media control the uninformed voting bloc which ultimately decides elections and the fate of the country.
Our message doesn’t reach this voting bloc without first being distorted and turned against us. Until that changes, little else is going to change.
Mitt worked his @ off. He doesn’t deserve to be thrown under the bus. He did everything he could.
He fought an up hill battle against the evangelicals and conservative purest from the beginning. Fact.
It is what it is.
For the first in this country’s history the majority of people in this country are not affiliated with a religion. And all these evangelicals are running around screaming cult, cult, cult! Yea that worked out well.
So Romney had the atheists on one side bashing him because he’s a person of faith. And the evangelicals bashing him because they don’t approve of his faith either.
So I don’t blame Mitt for doing the best he could under those conditions. I do blame the lack of support once he got the nomination from those that should know better.
Flame on me all you want. But that’s the truth. Now I’m going to have to figure out how I’m going to survive with massive taxes that I’m going to get hit with.
Sorry but the results speak for themselves:
Barely winning North Carolina
Probably losing Florida
Probably losing Virginia
Probably losing Ohio
You’ve got to be kidding!
This is the best he could do?
Sounds like the soft bigotry of low expectations . . .
And another thing: by not moving back to the middle Obama can at least claim some mandate. What mandate would Romney have if he won with 271 EV’s?
Shit, now West is losing by 1000 votes and Hasner was crushed by Frankel. Nice redistricting job by Florida Repubs!! Take a relatively safe seat and make two Dem seats out of it!
More establishment types that need to go.
Or a massive number of fraudulent voter registrations dumped into the various states' voter rolls in 2008, which the "True the Vote" effort missed by a mile.
Didn't anyone think it was just a bit too quiet on the ACORN front this time around?
Folks on this board seemed to have their ‘favorite’ in the primaries and spent a lot of time trashing each and every other candidate. We were busy shooting our own (or those who should have been our own). All I can say is you are right until we come together and act in a unified manner ( as the dems are so willing to do) then we will never get anywhere.
OUR CALL TO ARMS SHOULD BEGIN TONIGHT. IT IS TIME TO ACT AS A UNIFIED GROUP TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY
