Okay..I just lowered myself to seeing what the unwashed masses are saying over at DU. My goodness..they are 1000% sure this thing is in the bag for Odumbo! Not one single thread is showing even a semblance of fear. Thoughts?
But thanks for this....it has a way of calming my panicing.....
Even our 14 year old son said to me, "I Hope to God that Obama doesn't get re-elected or we're screwed!.....and I won't have a future."
Amazing how perceptive some kids are.....I patted him on the back and said I know just how you feel. I went through the same thing back in 1980 during the Carter / Reagan election.
Take a bath while you reformat your hard drive.
My first bogus DUmmy account lasted about 20 posts. Since then my second DUmmy account is in at +600 posts and has 3 years on the clock. All of this work is mainly so that I can have access in times of trouble like hopefully tonight when they shut down to non-active members.
What is amazing is the number of posters with +50K and even +100K posts. How do they do this?
I might add that over at the DUmp in the last several weeks there have been quite a few threads designed to flush out us freepers in it for the FUn!
Colloidal Silver???
Confident cheaters is what they are. I still think this election is so rigged by the left.
What else have they got to do? It's not like they've got to get up and go to work in the morning. Seriously.
I'll do my research. If I find a connection to Reagan as well as Nixon, I'll come back and ping you. Thanks for pointing it out.
Geeeez, why would anyone want to go to DU? They are all gathered around their Bongs blowing smoke. If Romney wins, I guess they’ll all move to France? Naaaah, the French don’t want them either.
Unfortunately, we are not competing with citizens concerned with the welfare of our nation. Quite the opposite. We are competing with people hell bent on destroying everything Conservatives and freedom-loving people hold dear.
That being said, I believe that Conservatives will be more apt to react accordingly to the election, regardless of who is elected. I cannot say the same for the DIms...
Just a short visit to DU can degrade your mental capabilities. Don’t worry, you’ll recover.
It’s way easier to be a liberal. You have entertainment and news completely on your side and can create an alternate reality. Conservatives have to live in Realville. I’m cautiously optimistic if Romney wins tonight I’m goin to bust out the beer.
Subtle ... Very good ... Took me a few seconds to get that.
A female Demorat running for Congress here in Red Hampshire got caught saying 'f him' while discussing her Republican opponent. That audio is now a part of her Republican opponent's campaign ads...got to watch those 'open mikes'. :-)
I think you are correct about the “Hypnosis” part.
One of my customers REALLY loves the way I am teaching their daughter guitar. They are well-off and live in a very nice section of town.
Last week I found out that are are actually VOLUNTEERING for Obama. This, in a community that has 82 Romney Signs for every ONE Obama sign.
I tried to speak to them rationally about the state of our nation in the last four years, and they weren’t hearing any of it. I didn’t attack Zero personally, just talked facts and figures.
They looked at we with contemptuous incredulity and asked:
“YOU’RE A REPUBLICAN??????????”
Now I feel uncomfortable going to the house to teach their (very talented and sweet) little girl.
That; and per media; it is a vote/voter depressor for Repubs!
OR; they know something we don't know. . .like 'how many voting machines' have been 'fixed'. . .
Here’s the blurb in wikipedia:
Alleged Nixon quote
Kael has often been quoted as having said, in the wake of Richard Nixon’s landslide victory in the 1972 presidential election that she “couldn’t believe Nixon had won”, since no one she knew had voted for him.[45] The quote is sometimes cited by conservatives (such as Bernard Goldberg, in his book Bias), as an example of cluelessness and insularity among the liberal elite. There are variations as to the exact wording, the speaker (it has variously been attributed to other liberal female writers, including Katharine Graham, Susan Sontag, and Joan Didion),[46][47] and the timing (in addition to Nixon’s victory, it has been claimed to have been uttered after Ronald Reagan’s re-election in 1984.)[48]
The story most likely originated in a December 28, 1972 New York Times article on a lecture Kael gave at the Modern Language Association, in which the newspaper quoted her as saying, “I live in a rather special world. I only know one person who voted for Nixon. Where they are I don’t know. They’re outside my ken. But sometimes when I’m in a theater I can feel them.”[49]
