If they cared about our tropical rain forests and vegetation all over the planet they should be pushing for more carbon dioxide. Plants thrive in it and studies have shown that just a little increase in CO2 results in remarkable plant growth. They thrive in it. The fact is that we overestimate human ability to affect climate. This world has endured millions of years with much more pollution from volcanos than mankind can ever dream of producing. The Earth can take care of itself. To even think that we can affect climate is presumptuous. Take a look down from an aircraft at 45,000 feet and you can see just how small and inconspicuous we are.

When Greenland becomes as green WITH the burn of fossil fuels as it had been many centuries ago WITHOUT the benefit of burning fossil fuels, then maybe we can begin to worry about how much is too much.

I’ve been in planes since I was a little kid. Even seconds after takeoff, you can’t see a human from the air, even though you can see cars and trucks on the highway. The whole climate change thing is 100 percent political.
