Any word on whether the access will be improved on anticipation of high volume? Or should we start searching to find some second-rate, pseudo-conservative site for our commentary? It was virtually useless during the debates. If nothing has changed, it will only be worse during the actual election. Today, it is already slower than normal.

Runs fine... extra servers may brought online just for Election Day.

If you have X64 Windows, Waterfox 16.0 is your friend!

Short answer? Nope.

I expect it to be out by 5PM. Better just bookmark some good sites and switch between them.

On the 29th, one of my contacts said:
Been doing tracert to FR from command prompt. Interesting results. The problem is NOT FR's servers. It's the internet backbone itself. It's as if traffic to FR and other sites that have been critical of Dear Leader has been... helped.
To which he added today (11/1/12):
DemUn was rather fast last I was able to check.
Now isn't that a remarkable coinky-dink?

I wouldn't be surprised if the interwebs, or at least conservative sites, went down HARD mid-day Tuesday and stayed down until well after the final results are announced.

I would urge the owners to start advertising, and use the massive revenue for improving the service.

I'll be keeping away from all news sites and radio stations (I don't have TV) all day and hope and pry when I wake up Wednesday morning that Zeros days are numbered in the dozens.

(And NH picks a Repub governor).

I think The Blaze will be doing election night coverage. I’ll flip between that and Fox News.

Warning this race is closer than we wish it to be. Obama may still be re-elected, just a friendly reminder. Things may be so bad the last four years thru election day, that too many voters may be more afraid to elect Romney than to vote out Obama. JMHO FR will likely be down/very slow to moderate slow late Mon PM EST thru early WED PM EST.

I hope they come up with software that will stop multiple posts within a pre-set time frame. I saw some posting the same comment over a dozen times.

LOL! You're kidding, I know it. Just look how slow its running today and for the past "x" months. There's no improvement and it's unlikely there will be in the days, weeks or months to come.........

JR and John are in over their heads now and need expert help but they refuse to open the door.
