I don’t know how to interpret this, but I live in Ocean County and I was driving through my town this evening with my wife and we saw a line of 3-4 military Humvees, with soldiers in camouflage uniforms, and another Humvee on the road ahead of us. There was a large unmarked white school bus parked near the Humvees as well. There was no indication by there location (parking lot of the public library) or their actions to tell us what they were doing there, but it may have something to do with this report.

I’m not a tinfoil hatter. This is just a factual report of what I saw about 7:30 this evening.

That’s standard National Guard transportation. I live in Tornado/Ice Storm/Hail Country and we had enough damage recently to bring in the National Guard. They showed up in Humvees, military trucks, vans, etc.

My sister lives in Hackensack, and she and her family are pretty much trapped in their apartment, or at least they were. The Jersey National Guard has been there distributing MREs and water. I wouldn't be too worried about it. The National Guard is normally mobilized during any disaster. Remember, Christie is able to mobilize them, and not "just" for "martial law."

It's not unusual to see them in any state after a disaster, like in MO or KS after a tornado hits or a flood.

Click on upper right icon then your county.
It will show the town progress . Goes up shortly because they have to turn area off to work on
another area . Good Luck!

I saw Air force soldiers in camaflauge handing
Out water & ice at two sites.

I can see maybe a curfew but that would be hard to enforce . Mostly honor system.
I’m a nurse, EMT, work night shift.

The power is being restored kind of quickly
200K throughout state today so far.

Yes there’s looting by foot and boat. Coast guard already working on this.

Unlike the friendly south which I like.
New Jerseyans don’t trust people most part.
FEMA isn’t the welcome wagon. Electric company does their job and moves on . Like they really want to talk to a customer.
I don’t think anyone would open the door without calling the company or police .
A cop yells through door open up I got a gun.
I say me too what’s you badge number.

Had a neighbor leave door unlocked but that was 1973. Fast forward 2012 everyone locks door when they’re home.

Someone’s been watching revolution too much.
