Same here! If a screw/bolt comes out, I replace it with its stainless equivelent if possible. I replaced all non-structural (cover) fastners with stainless including the camlocs on the plane.

Just got through replacing my camper's catches and many other screws with stainless including the inside of the icebox screws. lol Still need to replace the jack screws on each corner though.

South Louisiana is just rust city, salt in the air, high salt content in the ground, it's just bad.
I've gotten in the habit of washing the Bush Hog and cutter on the riding mower every time I use them.
Bush Hog deck going on 12 years use without rebuild, Snapper deck 22 years.
