Another small bit of anectodal evidence. There’s a comic book store right across the bridge from me in PA that 4 years ago had an 0/BiteMe sign in front of it. The other day I saw the owner pull up in front of his store with a ROMNEY/RYAN bumper sticker on the back of his car.

Hmm. In Gardena CA this morning we were stopped in traffic by a caravan of LA County Sheriffs Mounted Police trailers headed northbound. Destination unknown.

I went to a gun show last weekend and watched an older man in overalls buy five cases of 7.62x39, five cases of 9mm, two cases of .22. He also had about a thousand mixed 12 gauge shells, mostly buckshot and slugs. I am a Southerner so I know plenty of people with much more ammo on hand, but I have never witnessed anyone buy that much at once.

My problem with this “leading indicator” is that the amish seem to get out of hand even when things go their way. Witness the innumerable riots occurring when local sports teams win their various ‘big’ championships.
Thus a win by Obama could be riot justification or even encouragement if Obama should win. Can any of us imagine AG Holder bringing actions against “disadvantaged youths” for exuberant actions after the victory of Obama over that EVIL CAPITALIST!
