Good timing. Lots of people in the NE who will go prepper after this terrible disaster. I am getting ready in these last days before Tuesday.
Seems like it would be really hard to be a prepper if you lived in a 10th floor flat in the city. Those are the kind of people that probably need info and help a lot.
BUT BUT BUT
They are dumpster diving.
New Yorkers only throw away the best.
New York garbage gets a 5 star rating.
Also, if there is spousal disagreement on the relative priority of preparedness, the mess in parts of NY and NJ is a good, real-world justification for extra supplies and equipment. There is no reason to refer to particular forms of social collapse, TEOTWAWKI, or the like. Preparations for one emergency are preparations for all.
Better timing would have been if they had done it before the calamity. Those who haven't should read William R. Forstchen's One Second After. That's what got me thinking early on.
I am not worrying about tues since i will be voting early that morning and bugging out towards Bismarck. Should be on my uncle’s farm before most people even vote. Prepping is just a way of life in rural ND.
