First, thoughts and prayers to our fellow Americans suffering great loss and to those providing relief and comfort.
A Dem operative was reported shortly after the hurricane, "We're going to shove this storm up Romney's a**."
Now that Obama has claimed control over managing the aftermath, power outage, gas lines, no food, and the chaos of any storm belongs to him. Any negative story now reflects back on Obama.
Will his "look presidential" strategy backfire? Or will te Drive by media cover for him?
He already claimed to be able to lower the sea levels and heal the planet.

I do not see how this can possibly help Obama.
The “photo-op politician” is such a cliche that everyone can see right through things like this.
And there is no way to avoid comparing the response to Katrina, and this ironically vindicates Bush I think, as it further pulls the curtain back on the phony Wizard of Oz, aka “The One.”
How the mighty have fallen.
I’d like to know who owns the DUmpsters where New Yorkers have been dining.

The screaming is already starting. I don’t want to criticize those who are going through this tragedy, but the screaming is going to get a lot worse. It started today with the fuel shortages and then the Staten borough president screaming about the Red Cross. I think this will easily hit critical mass by Sunday. The response will be a critical component in the end game, but I doubt it will work in Obama’s favor.
I agree the storm is no help for Baraq and likely a negative.
But R wasn’t gonna win the day in NY/NJ/RI/CT/Mass anyway.
Outside of there, I don’t think there’s much impact.
DrudgeReport.com looks like Katrina II.. LOL If Bush “hates black people” then I guess 0bama “hates white people”.
Why do you think Christie and Bloomberg have been clinging to Obama like white on rice? They’re still going to end up under the bus, but they’ll take a big chunk of Obama with them on the way.
I’d like to know how to go about buying a few DUmpster franchises.
Just ask any sports star who comes to play in the NYC area. The spotlight’s brighter and the microscope is stronger.
Michael Clendenin, Con Ed spokesman just told Piers Morgan that except for Manhattan, the 9 million people of NYC will not have electricity until NEXT WEEKEND.
After everything Obama has done, he’s even praised by Republicans. How dare these ungrateful ingrates cause such a problem right before the election! //sarcasm

If I’m not mistaken, one arrogant Senator from Illinois wasn’t shy about criticizing ‘W’’s response to Katrina. After watching New Yawkers, most of which are Barry Benghazi’s core constituents, dumpster dive for dinner, I think the GOP could put together a good spot on Barry’s incompetence.
On a serious note, the Media crowning Obama 36 hours after the hurricane rolled through as a savior shows how stupid they are. Electricity will be out for another week. People will get desperate. They aren’t used to this. It is cold. They have no food. They weren’t prepared. This is not the Gulf Coast. They don’t know how to do this.
All 8 million NYers are not without power. I live in Queens in we never lost power. Good grief. Stop watching the mainstream media.
“Now that Obama has claimed control over managing the aftermath, power outage, gas lines, no food, and the chaos of any storm belongs to him.”
I was thinking the same thing after watching the evening news on Fox. He could not wait to get his face in front of a camera for a photo op. Now he is going to get a lot of the outrage for the lack of gas, food, electricity etc. I already heard someone asking where FEMA is.
Obama voted against Katrina aid.
