Thanks, SaraJ and MestaM, for your care and concern! I feel very blessed—the Upper East Side did fine in the storm. So many friends, however, are still without power, heat, hot water, phones—as well as dealing with flooding and damage to their homes. Mass transit is slowly starting up and New Yorkers are trying their best to get back to work--even if it takes three hours to get there.
