We were spared by the hurricane. Didn't even lose power. I'm in the northwestern portion of NJ, pretty far away from the shore. Most in my area (92%) did lose power, but our community buried the power lines underground a few years back, and it worked out. Thanks for asking.

glad to hear it! i’m still amazed that we didn’t lose power either. was totally prepared for it, i had ordered those brooklyn lantern things and everything [had a hell of a time finding D batteries, but the intrepid xsbaby found them at Brookstone! it wouldn’t have even occurred to me to look for them there, but she did and they had plenty].
