Disney got everything. The entire Lucas empire. Whether or not they overpaid is yet to be seen, but ongoing Star Wars licensing/merchandising is already a 9-figure business annually, and a successful resurrection of the series would make that number grow dramatically.

Among the acquisitions were ILM (Industrial Lights and Magic), one of the top special effects companies out there, and Skywalker Sound, a top-notch sound effects and digital recording company.
Since I received a couple hundred shares of Disney stock when they bought out Marvel a few years ago, I guess this means I now own part of the Star Wars franchise. (Just a fraction of a percentage, but it still sounds cool!)
