Is the fact the storm sped up the saving grace? Seems to me it moved faster towards the shore than predicted, as bad as it is, it would have been much worse if it came in slower.
I was thinking all day that it was the grace of God who allowed this hurricane to only be a category 1 storm. He could have allowed it to be much worse…He is warning us to turn to Him or else.
That might be. We have relatives in northern Jersey, 15 miles outside of NY and we’ve been in touch and they said it’s still windy, but much worse earlier, and they still have power, only cable is out.
We’re in upstate NY (Syracuse area) and they keep warning us of horrible wind and rain but it’s pretty tame so far. Of course we’re used to 3-4 foot windy blizzards, so we’ll see.
