Uh...yeah. I know where NOLA is. I worked Katrina....and I also worked the Hurricane Pam exercises in 2004.

I know how NOLA flooded...where...why. That doesn't change the surges. 12' at Lakefront and 16' (Est.) around Plaq. Parish. The reason it was up to the rooftops is...well...when you build a city in a bathtub and water starts coming over the side...you flood to your rooftops.

N.O. wasn't a bathtub when it was established as a city, if you knew anything about history, you'd at least know that...

Yep, thanks for the info. Katrina was a bad event, but it was not the storm some are making it out to be. Unfortunate for those people.
