I just saw three orange lights flying over Champaign, Illinois. There were no visible blinking lights. What could they have been? Helicopters? Military? They were flying too fast to be baloons, but seemed slower than jets.

The orange lights seems to be the new craze on the ufo sites. I saw many during the 4th of July in Seattle. May very well have been “Chinese lanterns”. However, it was a bit odd that they were moving in different directions (some heading north, some south, etc.). So who knows.

Nothing to worry about - just weather balloons igniting swamp gas.

Orange? Celebrating the Giants, no doubt! Seriously, we get stuff like that in our Nevada night skies all the time. I suspect they’re ours.

If they were equidistant in a trianglular pattern and silent then it was most likely a TR3B (black project).

It was probably Hillary flying to a witch convention in Chicago, carrying three Jack O’ Lanterns to present as hostess gifts.

I'll refrain from the urge to be sarcastic (Its hard though!). Quite possibly anything -- military, I would imagine.
And that doesn't make it anything suspicious either. One day this summer I was outside and a blackhawk flanked by an apache and huey came screaming along at almost treetop level. Quite a thrill -- I always get swelled up when I see our military in action. I thought the huey was strange, but I don't know what/if they still use those for.
