Popular vote means squat it is all about Electoral votes. That is the way the framers intended it so mentioning it further and then saying you hope he wins the Electoral one too is silly.

I’ve read many times over the years that if a candidate wins the majority vote by 3.5 points or more it’s statistically impossible for him to lose the electotal college vote. Don’t know this to be an absolute fact but, this is certainly what the pros say.
