“So if millions of people lose power and are without power for days or weeks and there is major flooding with lots of property losses not just personal but also business loses, would you prefer or are you suggesting that the media should just ignore that story? “
Um. Yeah, riiiight. That’s exactly what I’m suggesting. Uh huh. Sure.
Yeah, you understood the point I was making....NOT
We seem to have a lot of ‘ODS’ here on FR. Yes ‘Bama’ is horrible, yes he HAS GOT TO GO, but people you act like he either conjurered up the storm or the whole thing is some Machiavellian plot out of a bad suspense novel. LIFE goes on, things happen. The storm doesn’t know it’s election time or that ‘BAM’ has done. I see people being unprepared for the storm dying as a result of it crying out Obama’s fault with their last breath! I guess if you go to the doctor next week and he tells you you have cancer it will be Obama’s fault? If you have a flat tire on the way to work next week it will be Obama’s fault? If you step on a crack and break your mother’s back it will be Obama’s fault? This is the talk and the methods of the leftist. Its the same shill BS they spewed against George Bush. I thought we are better than that. I know we should be better than that. I know we can be better than that.
Perhaps I misunderstood your point but I think you misunderstood my point as well. There is no way the media cannot report on hurricane Sandy and the after effects, if indeed they are as bad as whats being predicted (and hopefully they wont be). And that has nothing to do with the MSMs bias toward Obama or any coordinated conspiracy on their part. Of course that is not to say they wont try to spin the story in Obamas favor if they can, something along the lines of what a wonderful and caring POTUS he is compared to Bush - that I can see happening if that was your point.
But you seemed to be suggesting that the media is and would be reporting on Sandy as a way to push Benghazi out of the forefront. Again if millions of people are without electricity for weeks in the most populated area of the country, if there is major widespread damage and flooding in places like NYC, flooding out the subways in the countys financial district; that would be the top news story.
