Only New Hampshire and Pennsylvania are in play in the Northeastern region. Romney only stands a good chance of winning in the Granite State, where he has a summer residence; the Keystone State has been a repeated disappointment for the GOP. If there are heavy snows, it will likely not have much impact in the Philadelphia area, the heart of liberal darkness in Pennsylvania. Heavy snows will adversely impact the less liberal central and western portions of the state. However, these effects will likely be over by November 6.

Heavy snows or especially rain in Philadelphia would have an adverse effect on Obama. The unenthused Dems would stay the heck home. However, it won’t matter because Romney’s not even trying to win here. He’s not running ads. Occasionally, we see some from PACs. Quite frankly, I don’t get it. From all appearances, 0’s base in the Philadelphia area is completely demoralized. The low level of enthusiasm for 0 among African Americans is downright shocking.
