I've been thinking about the liberals who don't understand how tax returns work - so they fall for the idiotic claims that Buffet's secretary pays more taxes than he does....and don't accept that they use LEGAL deductions so why is it wrong for those who can LEGALLY avoid taxes to do so as well.

I'd love, just to screw with their minds, to say instead of taxing earned income we should tax wealth....so even those retired liberals in the Northeast, living off of their fat retirement checks, investments that grew during the Bush years, and living in their paid off homes can feel the effect of their push for the "rich" to pay higher taxes. I wonder how they would feel if suddenly their wealth was taxed at the higher rich 1% rate? lol

I’ve thought we need to raise taxes on Hollywood and tax free foundations.

Particularly the foundations they’ve been subverting America for 100 years with their globalist and culturally marxist propoganda. Tax Rockefeller’s at 10%

One of the amusing things about this election was when Romney released his tax returns and the libs laughed because he did not use all his deductions and paid too much in taxes. Seems the only ones who can get it wrong according to libs are Republicans.

Thomas Sowell wrote a column recently about capital gains and why they are taxed at a different rate. Basically, making the point that guaranteed income (from a job with a salary/wages) is vastly different from investing your own money in a venture with no guarantee of success.

If we tax them the same, then everyone would just “get a job” instead of taking a risk.

A risk like owning a coal mine and ending up successful enough to run for the senate.
