I felt one good jolt like someone kicked my chair, then the swaying started.
Sounds like the last one we had here in Kentucky (it was actually centered in southwest Illinois). I was at work, about fifteen feet in the air on an order picker, when everything started swaying. I thought it was just a truck backing into the loading dock a little too hard. I didn’t realize it was a quake until I went to lunch and turned on the radio.
