You’re quite a catch if that is true!
Our *newer* Lab was so quiet as a juvie....I wondered, maybe, if he had some a genetic prob with his vocal cords...but now he barks at anything and anyone he thinks is in *his* territory...I’m grateful for him being the pre-door bell. We have some sort of an evangelical church in the neighborhood...whose annoying members are out soliciting funds...black people don’t like black dogs much...nor do they understand what *no soliciting* means. Heh.
I've raise one lab from a pup, fostered another until she got a home to go back to, and hunted and been buddies with several others. A few others I've babysat for anything from a weekend up to a few weeks.
Labs and salukis are very special kinds of critters.
Come January, I may, Lord willing and the creek don't rise, get a dog. The neighbor with my buddy the mastiff recently moved, and I don't have a big dog buddy nearby.
