My careful research has identified a distinct global warming trend. This is primarily evident in the northern hemisphere from March through July, although it is offset and hidden if one considers the predominant cooling data collected from September through January. In any case, I can prove my predictions to over 90% of Freepers: just check the temperature tomorrow morning at sunrise and again tomorrow at 2:00 pm. I'd bet a paycheck that most of us will observe evidence of a substantial temperature increase over just a few hours.
If you want an expert opinion, just ask Al Gore. He's a Nobel Prize winner, and he will warn you that the earth's core could reach "several million degrees" if the warming trend that we ourselves observe each morning continues for just a few centuries.

I can believe it. The country is swirling around the toilet bowl. For example, my son and daughter are in their high school journalism class. Son is the editor-in-chief, and assigned two students to write editorials about the presidential campaign. He assigned the pro-Romney story to his sister.
Out of eighteen students, my kids and one leaner were the only ones willing to do it. In fact, one punk follows my daughter around and insults her for willing to write anything pro-Romney. If she didn’t have the poise and self-determination from eight years of private Christian school and a close-knit family, I’d want to thump the punk.
She just laughs about it. If it gets too bad, 6’-3” son can his ass from the paper.

Americans have also made Honey Boo Boo a celebrity, for no discernible reason that I can see.

Well, I believe in global warming, as well as global cooling.
There was an MWP. Then there was a LIA.
Very little in life or nature is constant.
I am not a scientist, and I do not even play one on TV, but I consider all climate change to be natural, and totally out of the hands of man.

A tiny piece of sanity appears at the end of the article:
But a solid majority -- 70% -- said they would like at least a little more information on the subject, study authors wrote.
