There is actually some serious discussion that Obama knows he's finished and has known for some time, because sitting president's don't get reelected with an economy this bad. Early in the summer he quietly purchased a $19 Million dollar home in Hawaii, and reports say he contracted for a renovation with the requirement that the work be complete no later than the end of December.
