I am substituting for xsmommy, the regular Monday professor, who is vacationing in Italy. That reminds me: exigent is NOT an Italian word that means a man who had a sex change operation.
The defeat of Barack Obama in the upcoming election is as exigent as was the defeat of any foreign enemy we ever faced in wartime.
To prevent further grade inflation, I have re-scaled the curve. The highest grade will be A+++.
No pushing at the door please!

I have volunteer duty at the HS that is exigent this morning so I’ll be back later with some homework. It might be about the Dallas Cowboys making some exigent changes to their playbook. And how the Houston Texans finally got challenged yesterday and fell apart.

Dallas fell apart late in the game, as did the Eagles. My beloved NY Giants took advantage of the situation and clobbered the 49ers, an excellent team.
In baseball news, my (formerly) beloved NY Yankees can't hit a lick.

The Lamestream media have become even more
exigent then usual in their attempts to re-inflate the numbers for the Obozo campaign and stop the bleeding.
Let's hope Romney hits an artery in the townhall debate tomorrow.

I figured I should do my
real homework with a second sentence instead of goofing off.....
Although I have to admit, my original sentence was super-glued to my brain and I couldn't get past it until I shared it with y'all.....

I got the Red Zone package that switches from game to game, showing all the exigent results. No commercials--just football for 7 straight hours. Had that on the big-screen tv, and the baseball playoffs on a smaller monitor. About halfway through the day, I could swear I saw Alex Rodriguez throw a pass to Victor Cruz.

There are exigencies and there are emergencies.
Near as I can figure, the exigency is the rock, and the emergency is what crawls out from under it.
Stuff you have to deal with.

Dallas was one play away from beating or tying the Ravens. Twice.
The Browns finally got off the schnide. Normally, for them, being one game behind the Steelers is a favorable position.
And if you want to talk about second half collapses, check out the Pitt Panthers. Winning 21-14 with 53 seconds left in the first half, they then gave up 24 straight points, including a 75 yard bomb on the first play of the second half.

Thanks for sharing. When you’re finished (don’t forget to wash your hands) come back and let us know if you want to be on the PING list.

Arrrrrggggghhhhh! That’s when I retire to my computer and surf the Web. My husband will interrupt me from time to time and ask the score. I just shrug and say, “I wasn’t listening.” I don’t get involved until the last quarter of the last quarter.
