Jeter was born and raised in Michigan.
But back to important stuff — did the Tigers win?

Tigers won in the 12th after Valverde blew a 4-0 lead in the 9th.
I haven’t forgotten Valverde’s 49 save record last year but he needs to go down to triple A for a while and get it back together

Yes, 6-4 in 12 innings. I, too, was raised in Michigan and grew up as a Detroit Tigers fan. I'm glad they pulled it out against the Yankees.
Now I can't wait for another showdown between the Tigers and the St. Louis Cardinals. (1968-2006-2012?) I wear the cap for whichever team is batting - and I can't lose. HA

The Tigers and the Lions both won today. Can’t remember that ever happening. Hubby is happy!
