I think you are on to something. If a conservative black were to run, he would probably get more blacks to vote for him than a white conservative, but still far less that a white or black leftist.

I disagree. I think if the Republicans have a black man running, like West or Cain, they'd get a least half the black vote. Whenever we have a black conservative running for anything, it's more the white liberals who talk the trash and stir up all the racial issues. In fact, the quickest way to get a white liberal to use the word "nigger" is to show them a black conservative.
