My late father was fond of the McDLT; the excuse for getting rid of it was that McDonald’s was moving away from using polystyrene packaging and that was somehow integral to the McDLT “experience”. The replacement burger declension is as follows:

• Big N’Tasty

This thread is totally off time now, but I had to reply, because I totally agree about the Mc D.L.T.! The “hot stayed hot, and the cold stayed cold.” But the main thing was, it was scrumptious, velvety smooth beef and cheese and tomato, and the hard to describe flavor, 20 years or more later, I can still taste it, and want it again. Sad.
