Id say her days of hob-knobbing are over.
I’d say her days of knob-hobbing are over. Just sayin’...
As well as probably 90% of people on FR at one point or another...
You are right. Almost everyone else that responded to my comment blames Monica not Clinton. I can never understand that kind of thinking. She made him do it? Baloney.
so now we know where old “person in charge of BJ’s” types go when their lips go...
the context i was discussing this in is that she was not a victim and not innocent but made her own deliberate choices. whether 90% of others also made the same choice dosn’t change this.
A tribute to the Dems talent for 'creating THEIR reality' - at expense of harsher truths. (And a footnote to the Republicans susceptibility to finding themselves struck; deaf; dumb and blind to Leftist realities.)
Monica's 'dresscapade'/ and their mutual sexapade; painful as that was; did save Clinton 'treasonous' exposure of the darker side of Clinton,Inc. And of course; without Newt; Clinton's success would have been far less noteworthy.
i do have a certain degree of sympathy for her, she IS the epitome of sexual harassment victimhood. the powerful superior taking advantage of a weak subordinate. in this kind of power relationship, she CANNOT consent. and now we know why the law says that she cannot. her life was ruined.
and those in teh senate, especially those democrats who wrote, sponsored and championed these kinds of laws bear some level of responsibility for what has has become because it was their responsibility to go to bat for her. not one did. heck,. not one senator even looked at the evidence.
talk about being thrown under the bus!
“She committed fornication”

A good/excellent zinger. Thank you. You hit the nail on the head!!!!
THAT WAS A DAMN FUNNY BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE $MILIONs
I love the way you always referred to Janet Reno as a man
I agree with you
Yes she was young(-ish) and stupid, and did cooperate...
But I would never want to be held accountable for anything I did before the age of 25 (or maybe 30 -the age when I finished college)- jeez I did some stupid stuff. But thankfully most of the adults around me actually tried to STOP me rather than participate.
Poor girls life was ruined.
I heard she was a Republican now because Democraps left a real bad taste in her mouth.
“Did Monica ever repent”
Don’t know, don’t care, can’t prove it either way. Somethings are for the Man upstairs to decide, not us MORTAL sinners.
“That dress saved her life.”
You can say that again!
I hear you. She was young and did something very stupid. It is a shame this will follow her the rest of her life.
I am sure if she had a do-over she would never have messed with Clinton, but who knows?
I know she wishes things had turned out different.
Hmmm, did you read the Starr report? Remember how she flirted by showing off her thong underwear at him, or him performing anilingus on her?
Innocent little girl my foot.
Cheers!

So what if she flirted with him? He did not have to respond. I think it is sick that anyone believes that a flirty 20 something takes away all power from the President of the United States and he is powerless to resist her. GROW UP.
(This is part of the misandrist fallacy that all women are basically pure and are only corrupted by men...)
Cheers!
Monica’s problem is that she would rather be single than to settle for any man who would actually want her, a problem she shares with a lot of women who see their status determined by the status of their husband or boyfriend.
There would have been men willing to date her - just not rich and powerful men.
Thanks much Mr. K! It’s nice to know that some people read and remember that book.
