and in the nation’s capitol it’s a fed holiday and only docs and people like that are working : ) Paula hates it because the HOV restrictions and assorted other parking restrictions are lifted and it makes her commute more difficult.
Then again, I wouldn't put it past some to use it as a last chance to get 'Free Stuff' by breaking glass display windows in streetside shops.....

Yeah, I saw it. I don’t think it lived up to the hype, but it was funny.
I know how she feels. My sister is in banking and gets loads of holiday time, never has to work after dark or on a Sunday, whereas I work most weekends and have worked nights and evenings before because my job demands are 24/7. Holiday? Weekend? What’s that? The kids have fall break on different schedules but the spouse is working and so am I so it’s nothing different.
I think she loved Marc Antonyms cause he looked just like Richard Burton and talked funny.

i have been listening to the rock station on my way into work instead of XM and the Obama ads on there are breathtaking! they are def playing to the lowest of the food chain on there. It astounds me how bad they are.
well we choose our career paths and anyone choosing medicine has to be fully cognizant of the fact that nights/weekends/etc are all on the table. If i am not mistaken there are shift differentials for working other than daytime? I have to work whatever schedule it takes to get what i have due done on time.
