Since you mention Doctor Who, I'll take this moment to gripe about BBC America NOT showing the classic series of DR. Who while the new show is on hold. ‘Come on, BBCA! Repeats of Star Trek: The Next Generation? I would much rather watch Dr. Who Classics! (which, btw, used the "ancient astronaut" plot device on numrous serials, such as City of Death, The Pyramids of Mars, Stones of Blood, The Daemons, just to mention a few of the classic serials that had ancient astronaut plots)...

There are all sorts of problems with old Doctor Who (including that some have actually been lost), but I agree. Were I to run a science-fiction themed network, my M-F mornings would have 2-hour blocks of Doctor Who, each day featuring a different doctor. When that Doctor is up, move to another.
